A treasure hunt through thousands of emails
When a restaurant group or retail operator came to Matta looking for a site, the team would start searching through their inboxes. Property details lived in forwarded emails from agents, email chains with landlords, and messages scattered across different team members' accounts. Even when they knew a perfect property existed, finding it meant digging through weeks or months worth of correspondence. There was no way to filter by location, size, or current tenant. No way to see at a glance what was available. And once they found promising options, they'd spend more time compiling property details into presentable brochures to share with operators.
An automated AI system to bring everything into one place
We built a system that monitors all employee inboxes, extracts property information wherever it appears, uses AI to turn unstructured information (e.g., email text, website descriptions, attachments) into structured data (e.g., property address, landlord contact details, lease terms), and saves it all into one, centralised database which powers an app all the team can access.

The team can now browse and filter properties instantly - searching by location, size, availability, or any other criteria - and no longer have to trawl through inboxes for information. When they find properties that match a client’s needs, they can generate polished PDF brochures directly from the system with all the key details formatted and ready to present.
